Have you ever seen someone use AI for Something Completely unneeded for this and many other reasons I believe generative AI should be banned in all places no matter what race, sex, height or if you are left-handed. Many people don’t realize they’re two types of AI, Agentic AI and Generative AI “Gen” for short. It is designed and made for content like images text, audio, and even coding. Gen AI takes patterns from human-made things and learns from it and remakes it into something else but Agenetic AI goes beyond content it plans, executes, and adapts based on its given goal. Instead of giving out sloppy or half-hearted responses it operates with a degree of Autonomy and decision making and taking action. Its like a slice of pork with straight fat on the side, theyre both relatively the same thing but one is clearly better then the other. I myself am an artist of all types when people use gen AI to write make drawings and even sing song for themselves It makes them dimmer and less sharp because you are no longer using your brain. People at all schools and even teachers are using generative AI to write out everything for them. Singers are using it to write lyrics that makes it lose it’s heart felt meaning, painters are needing it to make ideas for them it’s no longer special to them if they didn’t make the idea. Writers are even going to generative AI to spell words when it’s easier to google it. The pope of this day in age had to ask grown men priests to stop using Chatgpt to write their sermons. If you don’t see the problem there, you need to rethink it. I’m not dim i know lots of things we use in our day to day lives use up water to make but Gen AI uses typically 0.32 milliliters of water for one single Gen AI prompt. That may not seem like a lot but when the entirely of USA is doing it almost every single second, That’s alot of water that could be going into something else more important. My claim is that generative AI needs to be banned, it is doing nothing but making us lazier, dimmer and it makes us want to depend on anything in front of us as long as it looks nice. It could give us misleading information whenever we use it and we wouldn’t even know it. Information that’s held in a book and develop over years I believe it should not be at the tip of our fingers. We should have to work for it. – Melanie. J
